I’m a commissioned Notary Public in Oregon. I’m licensed by the Oregon Secretary of State to be a notary, an official witness for formal documents, such as real estate documents, powers of attorney, forms of guardianship and authorizations, affidavits, and other legal forms for business and one’s daily affairs.

I generally require a photo ID, and the signer needs to demonstrate general competence and an awareness of what they are signing. They also need to complete an entry in my Notary Journal. Notarized documents need to be written in English.
